Llewellyn's New A to Z
Horoscope Maker and Interpreter: A Comprehensive Self-Study Course ISBN 0-7387-0322-2 A-Z is the classic astrology text, the first textbook for generations of astrologers and a valuable reference for beginner and professional alike. This new edition retains Llewellyn George’s material, largely, to my eye, untouched, but adds over 100 pages of new information by contemporary astrologer and author Stephanie Jean Clement. New topics include cosmobiology, the use of Transneptunian points, Chiron and major asteroids, a graphic ephemeris, Horary and Mundane astrology, mythology of planets, and health considerations. The appendices include a chapter on how to set up a horoscope using the method we all employed before computerized chart generators, laborious but useful in understanding just how the horoscope works, and a very handy glossary or, as A-Z calls it, “astrological dictionary”. Also new is a list of sign rulerships for countries, cities and states. The most successful addition, I believe, is the new Study Guide, which can be used as a self-study course or as a review of the material. A classic, improved and updated, and a “must have” for anyone interested in astrology.
