As I was verifying the statistics on this book, I wasn't surprised to see that it is available in used condition for considerably less than the cover price (the book is worth every penny of $17.95).  I have followed the writings of Z since "Holy Woman's Book of Mysteries" and always wait eagerly for the next release.  As I read over these passages, I get the feeling that she knew as she was writing these words that they were not for everyone out there. 

In a society that is geared toward instant gratification and eating everything at once (and supersized), a book that is created to be savored a piece at a time (like a cherished Easter rabbit that you take out, nibble, and put away again) will have its appeal lost on a good many.  Having had the pleasure of meeting Z, I can feel her essence all through this book.  Her easy flow with life and femininity moves gracefully through the passages and pages. 

The book is set up with a page or two devoted to each individual year of a woman's life.  As one progresses through the book, it's obvious that a great deal of care, consideration and meditation has gone into each year, using astrological, craft and personal influences. 

This book, like so many of her other works, is just delicious.
