What a lovely deck!  Admittedly, I was skeptical about Tarot of the Saints, having owned Tarot of the Master for some time and failing to see the incorporation of Christian philosophy and mythology into the Tarot as either necessary or interesting.  In fact, the deck felt cumbersome and forced.  Not so with Tarot of the Saints, which, along with the companion book, provide a stimulating and complete education on the various saints and how they have been applied to the classic Tarot interpretations.  As a non-Catholic, I had only the basic knowledge of the saints and their mythology and this deck opens up a whole new "pantheon" of story and legend that many Tarot readers would not normally explore.

The illustrations are lovely and the applications appropriate, to say the least.  This book/deck set is a valuable addition to any Tarot library and should be enjoyed with a warm cup of cocoa in front of the fireplace.  I am tremendously impressed.
