It is obvious from her writing that she has explored the subject extensively, not only intellectually and academically, but primarily, experientially. There is very little a person could want to know about the art of slipping into their astral animal's skin that is not covered in this book. Make no mistake, this is not about the Witch's familiar, but about the animal spirit inside that calls to the alert practitioner and claims them as their own.
