See?!! I KNEW they could do it! I have bemoaned for ages, ad
nauseum, the lack of explanation given to card-based oracles/Tarot
produced by Lo Scarabeo.
Just when I hit a point of
throwing up my hands in dismay and walking away, along comes this
marvelous set. Mind you, the "kit" part involves only a deck of
cards and a book, but WHAT a deck of cards and WHAT a book! The
imagery on the cards is extremely simple, as well it should be in this
particular format. The artwork is clear and succinct, which in and
of itself, elicits a myriad of mental imagery. A full sized,
generous, wonderfully explanatory book accompanies the deck and gives tons
of information on the symbolism and meaning of each card, as well as its
application in a reading and the magickal use of the card.
Written by Maria Caratti and
Fedora Feltrin, this kit should be held up as the shining example of what
a Tarot deck should be. THIS is the complete package and I am
honored to have the opportunity to review it.
