Three words: Worth every penny.
Although getting into $25.00 for a book
these days isn't unusual, it does put a bit of a crunch in the wallet. I
mean, it *is* 1/4 of $100. This book, however, is one of the very few
+$20.00 investments that I eagerly and enthusiastically encourage all
Wiccans and Pagans to make.
Housed within it's large, generous pages
is a plethora of amazing information, from recipes to magickal uses of
herbs to lore and muse surrounding the wonderfully useful and versatile
plants in our world. Cross-referencing common uses of herbs, as well as
providing an alphabetically listing of the most common herbs, this book
weaves a delightful web of knowledge around the reader, providing gentle
folk lore and easy instruction in the ritual use of the different herbs,
as well as several different common variations of names for each entry.
Absolutely no magickal library is completely without this book.
