When one becomes an
aficionado of Pagan books, there is a list of names on which you depend
to consistently and predictably deliver a quality and enjoyable product.
Edain McCoy assured her place among those ranks some time back.
The Witch's Coven
continues her tradition of excellence in both writing and subject
selection. Not at all shying away from the tough subjects such as
Witch Wars and engaging the Christians, McCoy creates a lovely book that
could even more aptly be titled "Life As a Witch" as it touches on
nearly all circumstances the Pagan leader might encounter.
A book like this has long
been needed and McCoy fits the bill, not only in instruction on finding
or forming a coven, but also in maintaining and successfully interacting
in the same.
All second level
practitioners should read and carefully consider this book. It is
definitely a wise and very direct voice in the din of mediocre Pagan
writing. Well done!
