In her first book of which I am
aware, Ms Bowes distinguishes herself in the way that I most appreciate:
by marching to the beat of her own drummer. The book could not have
a more perfect title as it is a near-perfect compendium of how to be
a magical woman. The gentle discussions of how to bring up the true
priestess within and "surrender to the Goddess" are inspiring and lovely.
Rituals provided are extremely appropriate and practical, covering most
situations in a woman's life. There is good use of the "spiral"
imagery, which I particularly enjoy employing. Something rarely seen
in even good Craft books is the impact of Saturn and Uranus transits and
returns in a person's life and Bowes covers it succinctly and completely.
A wonderful, albeit brief, overview of the major and minor Goddesses is
given and when the book was over, I felt as if a dear friend had abandoned
me. I wanted to read more and more and more...

4 pent out of 5
just because I want more
