I didn't have a picture of the newly revised edition of this wonderful book, so I have chosen to instead include a picture of its prolific author.  For decades, Stein has distinguished herself as the foremost voice in women's healing, spirituality and wisdom and this book is no except.  The Crossing Press/Ten Speed Press continues its amazing knack for backing the winners and providing a necessary and robust vitality to the overflooded vein of Pagan oriented books on the market. 

Stein has been a major contributor to the women's consciousness movement through the years and in this book, distinguishes herself with extensive knowledge of the many forms of healing the mind, body and spirit by using the mind, body and spirit, as well as the gifts from nature.  The use of personal energy via prianic healing and visualization is explained in detail, both the underlying premises and the actual techniques of its uses.  No less than half of the book is dedicated to the use of crystals and gemstones for healing and the space is well used.  Any information you could ever want about healing with stones is covered in depth.  Steins amiable and gentle voice is a joy to read, making the pages fly by in a soft flow of information.  I actually had to put the book down a few times and process all I had read, absorbing it like the Sun's rays before I could pick it up and continue on. 

This is a Wise Woman's wonderland of information and a must read for the healing Divas out there!
