Whether a gift to a treasured woman in your life or a gift to yourself to keep by your beside and read with a cup of tea before sleeping on the wisdom in brings, it is a book that needed to be written and cried out to be birthed to us.  This is the first time I have had the pleasure of reading the work of Ms Owens and I sincerely hope it will not be the last.  Gently guiding us through the passages of female life, the chapters are written with love and spirit, honoring the stages of a woman's life as glorious, holy events.  It would be difficult to put your finger into any part of this book and not find a passage containing vibrant and beautiful wisdom.
